What happens at a Seagrass checkup
Your visit starts with a chat, not a chair tilt. We talk through anything bothering you, then examine your teeth, gums and soft tissues, take digital photos so you can see what we see, and only recommend X rays when there is a clinical reason. The clean that follows removes plaque and tartar from the places your brush and floss cannot reach, finishing with a polish and personalised advice you can actually use at home.
How often should you come?
For most people, every six months keeps problems boring and bills small. Some mouths do better on a three or four month cycle and some are fine annually. We will recommend an interval based on your gums, your history and your habits, not a one size fits all rule.
Gum care lives here too
Bleeding when you brush is common but it is not normal. It is usually an early sign your gums need attention, and early is exactly when gum care works best. If we spot signs of gum disease we will explain what is happening and map out the gentlest effective path back to healthy gums.

Common questions

Allow about an hour for a checkup and clean. New patients get a little longer so we can take a proper history.
